Does Plotpane work for commercial real estate?

Yes. While Plotpane was built with residential real estate in mind, the enhancement, straightening, and virtual staging tools work the same way on office space, retail storefronts, warehouses, industrial buildings, and multifamily common areas — the operation does not know what kind of building it is looking at, and the preserve list holds columns, soffits and cable trays exactly as it holds walls and windows.

For CRE the two most useful tools tend to be empty-space virtual staging (furnishing a raw shell so a tenant can read the space) and Perspective Fix, because wide-angle handheld capture of a retail bay keystones badly. What Plotpane cannot do is change finishes: there is no tool that re-tiles a floor, repaints a wall or swaps a ceiling, so a build-out spec still needs a rendering from someone else.

Common CRE use cases

  • Empty office or retail staging for leasing brochures
  • Warehouse and industrial space enhancement
  • Multifamily amenity and unit photography
  • Investment memorandum hero shots
