Plotpane exists to make real-estate photography faster and cheaper — not to deceive buyers. Our engine is tuned to preserve structure, and we write invisible XMP disclosure metadata on every virtual-staging, virtual renovation, and related outputs.
What we preserve
Walls, windows, doors, ceilings, floors, structural materials, roofs, and architectural geometry are never invented or altered by our staging or enhancement tools. We modify content additively (adding furniture, changing sky, relighting) while leaving the property’s bones untouched.
What we disclose
Every Plotpane export is a clean image with zero burned-in watermarks on any plan. Virtual staging, virtual renovation, day-to-dusk, and sky-swap outputs carry an invisible XMP metadata tag that travels with the file — your catalog, audit tools, and downstream processors read the disclosure even though buyers never see a badge. The listing-side obligation remains yours: disclose virtually staged rooms in your MLS remarks (a one-line “Photos include virtually staged rooms” satisfies NAR guidance, California AB 723, REBNY, and every state commission we’ve reviewed).
What we prohibit
Any attempt to hide material defects, structural damage, water damage, or foundational issues is a prohibited use and may result in account termination. If you are unsure whether a specific edit complies with your MLS rules, ask before you publish.
