What does a real estate photo editor cost per image?
Plotpane is a monthly plan rather than per-image billing, and it works out at $1.23 an image on Starter, $0.82 on Pro and $0.62 on Agency — one credit per image whichever tool you use. Human editing services are typically $1.50 to $3.50 an image. There is no overage: renders stop when you reach your monthly cap.
Can I edit real estate photos without Photoshop?
Yes — that is what this is. You upload the photo, pick one of seven tools, and get a finished JPEG back in about two minutes. There is no layer stack, no masking and no slider panel. The trade is that you get one operation per render rather than fine manual control.
Will an AI photo editor invent things that are not in the property?
Plotpane is instructed not to. It will not add scenery through a window, conceal a defect, move the camera or change the architecture — the edit is scoped to the one thing you asked for. That is a deliberate limit and it is the reason to use a real-estate-specific tool rather than a general image model.
Do MLSs accept AI-edited listing photos?
Most do, with disclosure, and several require a visible label on virtually staged images — ARMLS, Bright, MRED and boards in California and Florida among them. Every Plotpane export carries an embedded XMP disclosure packet, and you can turn on a visible “Virtually Staged” label per render. Check your own board's rules before publishing.
Is this real estate photo editing software, or a service?
Software, and it runs in a browser — nothing to install. It is not an editing company and there is nobody in the loop: you upload, the tool runs, you download. If you want a firm you can outsource real estate photo editing to, with a person judging each frame, that is a different purchase and BoxBrownie or PhotoUp is where to make it.
