AI photography for property developers and construction firms

Developer marketing runs on three photography phases: off-plan CGI before ground-break, progress photography during vertical construction, and the portfolio-grade hero shots after TCO. Each phase has a different failure mode and a different budget ceiling. Plotpane serves all three without sending a photographer back to the site.

Why property developers love Plotpane

Built for the volume, brand, and disclosure bar your category actually runs at.

Virtual Renovation — finishes before they exist

The shell is up, but the unit-finish package isn't installed yet. Swap wall color, flooring, cabinets, and tile on an in-progress unit photo so the sales center can show buyers Option A, B, and C on the actual floor plan — not a generic Standardized Rendering. Useful for off-plan sales where the package list drives price.

Virtual Staging for empty post-TCO units

The tower tops out, CO issues, and the model units are dressed — but the remaining sold-shell and unsold-shell units photograph empty. Virtual Staging dresses them into your current sales-center palette so every unit brochure and every portal listing reads as cohesive product.

Twilight exteriors for topped-out towers

Completed-project photography is a capstone marketing asset. A single twilight hero of the topped-out tower — with warm interior glow across every floor — is what gets reused for five years across brokerage pitches, RFPs, and investor decks. Plotpane ships it from your construction photographer's clean midday plate.

CGI polish — don't start from scratch

Pre-construction CGI from your renderer lands a little too clean, a little too CAD. Plotpane's CGI-touch-up preset adds the photographic register — film grain, slight atmospheric haze, correct specular falloff, realistic foreground framing — that makes a rendering feel like a photograph. This is distinct from post-construction photography and doesn't replace it; it closes the perceptual gap during pre-sales.

Your workflow

Three steps from raw shoot to listing-ready.

Developer marketing ships at three distinct moments — pre-sales, construction, post-TCO. Here's how Plotpane fits each.

  1. 01

    Pre-sales: off-plan finish variations

Shoot a typical unit shell at drywall stage, then generate Option A / B / C finish packages on the same plate. The floor plan is real, the geometry is real, only the finishes differ. Off-plan buyers see their actual unit with their actual package — not a stock rendering.

  2. 02

    Post-TCO: stage every unsold unit

Once the building opens, you still have 30-80% of inventory to sell and only one or two model units dressed. Virtually stage each floor plate so the remaining units ship with matching sales-center palette photography — not a 'unit is vacant' photo that kills the click-through.

  3. 03

    Portfolio capstone: topped-out twilight

The single hero of the completed tower at dusk — city-lights around it, tower floors warmly glowing — is the asset that ends up in every investor deck for the next five years. Produce it from the construction photographer's clean midday plate, without a $15K architectural-photographer day rate.

What we built this for — developers

Developer marketing has a specific pain: the CGI studio ships one view at a time on a four-figure invoice, and by the time sales needs Option C finishes, groundbreaking has moved. We built Virtual Renovation's developer preset so an in-house marketing team can produce the Option A/B/C collateral in the morning and have it on the sales-center iPad after lunch. The CGI studio still matters for pre-ground-break hero views; everything else is now a Plotpane render.
