Plotpane is an enhancement engine, not a filter. When you run a listing photo through us, we adjust exposure, white balance, straighten verticals, reduce noise, and brighten shadows so the room reads the way it feels in person. That means the output will never be pixel-identical to the input — and that's the point.
We're careful to keep the enhancement truthful for real-estate disclosure laws. We don't remove permanent fixtures, we don't move walls, we don't change the size or shape of the room, and we don't invent surroundings. If you ever see a change that looks like a material misrepresentation (a window moved, ocean added behind the house, a stain removed from a ceiling), report it — that's a bug, not a feature.
What we do change
- Lighting and exposure balance across the frame
- White balance and color cast from mixed light sources
- Lens distortion and vertical/horizontal straightening
- Sensor noise in dim rooms
