Measured render times across the seven tools run 93 to 139 seconds, so about two minutes is the honest figure and virtual staging sits at the slow end of it. If you're waiting longer than that, the usual suspects are a very large file still decoding, a temporary load spike, or a staging job in a big room.
You don't need to refresh the page — the render continues on our servers and will finish even if you close the tab, and it is waiting in the project when you come back. There is no email notification yet. If a render has been stuck over 10 minutes it has almost certainly errored; a failed render does not cost a credit, so retry it.
How to speed things up
- Export RAWs as high-quality JPEG before upload
- Avoid peak hours (6–10pm US Pacific) for rush jobs
- Keep uploads under 25MB — oversized files spend longer decoding
- Batches run three at a time, so a 25-photo batch is roughly nine rounds
