Real estate photography in Dubai, finished properly
Plotpane does not shoot — it finishes the photographs you already have. Dubai listings live or die on the glass. A handover shot into a floor-to-ceiling window sits two stops under with the Gulf burned to white behind it, and the buyer scrolling Bayut at midnight sees a dark room. These are the seven edits that fix that, on the photograph you already took, in about two minutes each.

Photographing property in Dubai
The window is the whole problem
Dubai residential is glass-first: full-height glazing, a view that is the reason for the price, and a dynamic range no single exposure holds. Meter for the room and the Burj goes white; meter for the view and the room goes black. Auto Enhance is the tool that does the most work here, because it is recovering interior shadow while holding what is left in the glazing — and it will not paint a skyline into a window that has none, which is the line between an edit and a fabrication.
Heat, haze and a sky that is rarely blue
From May to September the sky over Dubai is white, not blue — humidity and dust, not cloud. An exterior shot at noon in July has a façade with no modelling and a sky with no information. Sky Swap replaces it and relights the elevation to match, which is the difference between a villa that looks photographed and one that looks scanned. Say so in the listing: a replaced sky is an edit.
Handover units photograph empty, and empty reads small
A large share of Dubai stock is sold at or near handover, which means the photographs are of bare rooms with protective film still on the joinery. Virtual Staging furnishes them to scale without touching floor, walls, glazing or ceiling — so the room a buyer sees is the room that exists, dressed.

What you have to say, and to whom
Dubai has no MLS and no board rule of the American kind, but RERA and the DLD hold the broker responsible for the accuracy of a listing, and both Bayut and Property Finder require that images represent the actual unit. That is the standard this is built to: Plotpane will not conceal a defect, add a view a window does not have, or change the architecture. Every export carries disclosure metadata, and a visible “Virtually Staged” label is one switch.

Editing listing photos in Dubai
- Can I use AI-edited photos on Bayut and Property Finder?
- Yes, provided the photograph still represents the unit being sold. Both portals require images to be of the actual property, and RERA holds the broker accountable for the listing. Enhancement, sky replacement and dusk conversion are edits to your own photograph and are accepted practice; staged furniture should be labelled, which is one switch here.
- What does real estate photography cost in Dubai?
- A professional shoot of a two-bedroom apartment in Dubai typically runs between AED 400 and AED 1,200 depending on the photographer and whether twilight is included. Plotpane does not replace the shoot — it replaces the editing pass afterwards, at $0.62 to $1.23 an image depending on plan.
- Does it work on handover photos with film still on the joinery?
- Auto Enhance will correct the exposure and colour of such a photograph, but protective film is a real thing in the room and Clutter Removal is the tool that would take it out — name it in words and it goes. What will not happen is the room being redrawn around it.
