A listing photo workflow that fits how agents at Keller Williams actually run a listing

Keller Williams is the largest real estate franchise in the world by agent count — 180,000+ agents across every US state plus KW Worldwide markets in Europe, Asia, South America, and the Caribbean — and the single thing every KW agent has in common, from a new agent on a 70/30 split to a top producer past cap to a KW Luxury broker running a $5M listing, is this: the agent pays for their own marketing. The profit-share and cap model moves commission upside to the agent, but it also moves the listing-photo line item off the office P&L and onto the agent's personal spend. That is why a workflow that fits Keller Williams listing expectations has to be flat-rate, fast, and drop cleanly into Command, the KW Command Marketing Center (Designs), the KW Consumer App, and whichever KWIQ or Kelle workflow the agent actually uses. Plotpane is a 4K AI enhancement pipeline built for that exact constraint. *Plotpane is an independent AI tool. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of Keller Williams Realty, Inc.*

Why the listing-photo line item matters more at Keller Williams than at a salaried brokerage

Agents at Keller Williams run their own marketing P&L. A typical KW agent on the standard 70/30 commission split is working toward a market-center cap (varies by market, commonly in the high-$20K to low-$40K range), and every dollar spent on listing photography, enhancement, virtual staging, and print marketing comes directly out of the agent's own after-split commission — not an office marketing budget. That is intentional: it is the same economic logic that feeds the KW profit-share system, which has distributed more than $2 billion to associates since inception and is built on the assumption that agents cover their own listing costs in exchange for brokerage upside. For the listing-photo pipeline, the practical effect is strong price-sensitivity at every tier. A broad-tier KW agent closing 15-25 sides a year typically spends $100-$180 per listing on outsourced photo retouching and another $25-$50 per empty room on virtual staging — blended, $4,500 to $12,500 per year of pure editing spend before a single print flyer is produced in Command Designs. A KW Luxury agent running fewer but higher-tier listings can spend $200-$500 per listing on editorial retouching plus magazine-grade print pieces. Plotpane collapses both tiers to $79/mo flat on Pro — 4K JPEG for Command, 16-bit TIFF for print pieces, structure-preserving virtual staging for empty rooms. Plotpane is an independent AI tool. The workflow: 4K JPEG that drops into Command, Marketing Center Designs, and the KW Consumer App

Command is the central KW agent CRM — around 40,500 monthly searches on 'kw command' alone, which is the operating system a very large share of KW agents live inside. Inside Command, the Marketing Center (Designs) provides print and social templates — listing flyers, just-listed postcards, open-house signs, social carousels — that pull directly from the listing's uploaded photo set. The KW Consumer App is what the agent's sphere uses to browse listings under the agent's brand. Every one of those touchpoints reads from the same source photo pool. The Plotpane workflow respects that: shoot the property, drop the full set into Plotpane, pick the preset that fits the tier (Auto Enhance for broad-tier MLS baseline, Editorial for KW Luxury and hero frames), export 4K JPEG sRGB, upload once to Command. From there the same master feeds the Designs templates, the Consumer App listing card, the agent's own site, and the downstream portal syndication (Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin) plus local MLS ingestion. Processing runs roughly 90 seconds per image on Pro, which clears a 25-30 frame set inside the window KW agents need for same-day listing launches and weekly just-listed postcard runs.

  • 4K JPEG sRGB drops into Command, KW Command Marketing Center Designs, KW Consumer App
  • 16-bit TIFF 300dpi on Pro/Agency for Designs print templates and KW Luxury magazine placements
  • Auto Enhance preset for broad-tier MLS baseline; Editorial preset for KW Luxury and hero frames
  • Structure-preserving virtual staging for empty rooms and new-construction listings
  • Browser-based — works from any KW Market Center desk or from an agent's phone in the field

Three KW divisions, one pipeline: broad-tier, KW Luxury, KW Commercial

KW is not a single aesthetic. Broad-tier residential — the vast majority of the 180,000+ agent volume — needs a clean, accurately-representative photo register that clears the local MLS and doesn't trigger virtual-staging disclosure problems on CRMLS, Bright, Stellar, FMLS, HAR, NWMLS or whichever board the listing lives on. KW Luxury — the KW division that competes at the upper tier against Sotheby's International Realty, Christie's International Real Estate, and Coldwell Banker Global Luxury — needs imagery that reads in editorial register and holds up in print at 11×17 and larger for magazine-partner placements. KW Commercial — a meaningful search category on its own, around 1,900 monthly searches — needs plumb verticals, neutralized mixed-light white balance on warehouse and retail interiors, and clean exterior frames for office, industrial, and mixed-use listings where the buyer is an investor reading a cap rate, not a homeowner reading a lifestyle. Plotpane's preset library covers all three: Auto Enhance for broad-tier, Editorial for Luxury, and a Commercial-tuned variant (plumb-first, neutral-color-first) for KW Commercial. One subscription, every division, from the same Market Center desk.

KWIQ, Kelle, and where the AI photo pipeline actually sits

KW rolled out KWIQ — its generative AI assistant — in June 2024, sitting inside Command alongside the older Kelle personal assistant. KWIQ handles agent-facing knowledge, content generation, and workflow acceleration; it does not perform photo enhancement or virtual staging. Plotpane sits upstream of both: the raw photo set passes through Plotpane first (enhance, color-correct, optionally virtual-stage), and the cleaned 4K exports are what the agent then uploads into Command so KWIQ, Kelle, the Designs templates, and the Consumer App all reference a consistent, already-corrected image pool. That ordering matters because Command's downstream templates — flyer, postcard, social card, Consumer App card — crop and re-render the source image; if the source has tilted verticals or yellow interior whites, every downstream piece inherits the same flaw. Plotpane fixes it at the source, once, for every template KW's stack will render from it.

Local questions, answered

Does Plotpane integrate with KW Command or the KW Command Marketing Center?+

Plotpane does not have a direct API integration into Command, Marketing Center Designs, or the KW Consumer App. It doesn't need one for the listing-photo workflow. You export 4K JPEG sRGB (or 16-bit TIFF on Pro/Agency for print pieces), upload the set into Command's listing media, and every downstream Command surface — the Designs templates, the Consumer App listing card, the agent-branded site — reads from that same pool in a single drag-and-drop. The XMP AI-disclosure tag Plotpane writes is informational and doesn't trip compliance scanners on Command or on the MLS lanes Command syndicates into.

I'm a KW Luxury agent — does Plotpane actually hit the editorial bar that tier expects?+

Yes, on the Editorial preset. KW Luxury competes directly with Sotheby's International Realty, Christie's International Real Estate, and Coldwell Banker Global Luxury in the same markets, which means the imagery has to hold up against the same editorial standard those brands hold. Plotpane's Editorial preset is calibrated for that tier — gentler contrast curve, warmer interior whites, held highlight detail on exterior stone and brick, sky definition restored without full replacement. On Pro and Agency plans, the same source file also exports 16-bit TIFF at 300dpi, which is the spec magazine-partner placements and print coffee-table placements require. Use Editorial on hero shots and twilight frames; Auto Enhance is fine for the secondary interior set.

What about KW Commercial listings — office, retail, industrial, mixed-use?+

Plotpane's Commercial-tuned variant prioritizes plumb verticals (critical on warehouse exteriors and office tower frames), neutralized mixed-lighting white balance (warehouse LED plus skylight daylight is a predictable failure mode), and clean, non-lifestyle color grading so investor-facing decks read as an accurate representation of the asset rather than a residential-style hero. 4K JPEG sRGB output drops into Command and into any KW Commercial-specific portal feed. The same master feeds the broker opinion of value (BOV) deck, the offering memorandum (OM), and the LoopNet or Crexi listing page where the asset also sits.

I'm a KW Worldwide agent outside the US — does this still apply?+

Yes. KW Worldwide operates on the same profit-share and agent-pays-own-marketing economics as the US market centers, so the price sensitivity is identical. The only difference is the downstream portal stack. Plotpane's 4K JPEG output meets spec for Rightmove/Zoopla in the UK, Idealista in Spain and Portugal, ImmoScout24 in Germany, SeLoger in France, Immobiliare.it in Italy, 99.co in Singapore, Zap Imóveis in Brazil, Inmuebles24 in Mexico, and the other portals KW Worldwide agents syndicate into. Command itself is available to Worldwide markets, so the upload-once flow is the same from São Paulo or Lisbon as it is from Austin.

Does Plotpane replace what KWIQ or Kelle already do inside Command?+

No — it sits upstream of them. KWIQ (the generative AI assistant KW launched in June 2024) and Kelle (the older personal assistant) handle agent-facing knowledge, content drafting, transaction acceleration, and workflow support inside Command. Neither performs photo enhancement, color correction, or virtual staging. Plotpane enhances and stages the raw photos before they enter Command, so every downstream Command surface KWIQ or Kelle help you assemble — a Designs flyer, a just-listed postcard, a social carousel, a Consumer App card — is built from a consistent, already-corrected source pool. It is the step that happens before the KW stack starts rendering templates.

Is the independent-tool disclaimer just legal cover, or does it actually matter?+

It matters. Plotpane is not a Keller Williams product, not a KW vendor, and not endorsed by Keller Williams Realty, Inc. or any KW market center. The product simply happens to fit the workflow agents at Keller Williams run — 4K JPEG for Command upload, 16-bit TIFF for Designs print pieces, Auto Enhance and Editorial presets that match the three KW tiers. Every page of marketing copy carries the independence disclaimer because that is the honest description of the relationship. If KW ever publishes a preferred-vendor list for photo enhancement, Plotpane may or may not be on it; that is KW's decision, not ours to claim.

Pricing FAQ

Billing, quotas, and refunds.

  • Yes — one click in the Stripe billing portal from your dashboard. Billing stops immediately and any remaining credits stay usable through the end of the billing period.

  • Starter and Pro renders refresh at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Agency renders roll over up to 3× your monthly cap, so a slow month isn't wasted.

  • We never auto-charge for overages. Once you hit your cap, new renders pause until your next cycle. If you need more room immediately, upgrade your plan from the billing page and your new quota applies instantly with proration.

  • No free trial. Instead, every plan carries a 14-day no-questions refund — if your first render isn't MLS-ready, we refund it. We chose a hard paywall over a throttled free tier so every plan gets full 4K output and every tool from day one.

  • Yes — annual billing is roughly 20% off the monthly rate (Starter $39 vs $49, Pro $79 vs $99, Agency $199 vs $249, all per month). The toggle above swaps the two.

Questions

The usual questions,
answered directly.

  • No. Midjourney and DALL-E invent scenes from text prompts — beautiful for art, disqualifying for a listing. Plotpane is a structure-preserving pipeline: your room geometry, windows, and floor plan stay exact. We stage, re-light, swap skies, declutter, and 4K-enhance your actual photo. No hallucinated architecture, no invented rooms.

  • BoxBrownie and Styldod are human-edit services: you upload, a retoucher works overnight, you get a result in 24–48 hours at $2–$32 per image per treatment. Plotpane runs the full listing pipeline — staging, dusk, sky, clutter, enhancement — in one upload, in ~90 seconds, for a flat monthly subscription. Same 4K quality, no queue, no per-image fees.

  • Yes, when disclosed. NAR guidelines, California AB 723, and REBNY Rule 3.3 all allow virtually staged photos provided the listing discloses them. Every Plotpane export embeds invisible XMP disclosure metadata so the staging record travels with the file. You still handle the listing-remarks disclosure in your MLS portal — that's the part only you can do.

  • Not on staging or enhancement — our Fidelity Contract enforces structure-preserving masks that lock architecture, windows, and floor plan before any generation runs. Furniture is added to empty rooms; clutter is removed from furnished rooms; lighting and sky are re-graded. Renovation features (new flooring, wall colors) require you to explicitly mark the surface. We never reinvent what's already there.

  • Yes — one click in the Stripe billing portal from your dashboard. Billing stops immediately, remaining credits stay usable through the end of the billing period, and there's no cancellation fee.

  • Yes — any AI-generated or AI-modified image is considered an edit requiring disclosure under NAR's standards. That's why every Plotpane export writes invisible XMP disclosure metadata by default. The flag is machine-readable by MLS tooling and survives Lightroom round-trips. You still add the disclosure line to your listing remarks; we make sure the image itself is self-describing.

  • We don't train on your uploads — ever, with no opt-out toggle needed. Storage is per-account R2 (Cloudflare's object store), isolated from other tenants. When you cancel, your account's files are deleted on schedule. Transit is TLS 1.3, at-rest is AES-256. Full details in /legal/privacy.

  • Yes. Upload HEIC straight from your phone or desktop — we validate by magic bytes (not just file extension) and convert server-side. PNG, JPG, WebP, and HEIC are all first-class inputs. Output is 4K JPG by default, or request PNG if you need lossless.

  • Upgrade is instant and prorated: Stripe credits the unused portion of your current plan against the new one, and your new render quota applies immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you keep your current quota until then. No credits are lost in either direction.

  • Yes. All plans include a commercial-use license for the agent, brokerage, or photography business on the account. Agency plan adds 5 team seats and a white-label delivery ZIP so you can hand enhanced photos to clients under your own studio brand. Full licensing terms in /legal/terms.
